The Pelham Board of Education is expected June 27 to appoint Susan Lockhart as interim assistant superintendent for pupil personnel services, bringing her in from a similar position in the Mount Pleasant Central School District, according to a Pelham School District press release. Sean Llewellyn, who serves as supervisor of the International Baccalaureate, will be named interim assistant principal of Pelham Middle School, the district said.

Lockhart was most recently interim director of pupil personnel and student services for Mount Pleasant. She worked as director of special education and support services in the Harrison Central School District after a career as a teacher, supervisor of elementary special education and elementary committee on special education chairperson, the release said.

Rosemary Matthews retired as assistant superintendent for pupil personnel services at the end of the school year. Lynn Sabia was promoted from assistant principal to principal of PMS.

The school board will meet at 4 p.m. in Alumni Hall in Pelham Memorial High School. The full agenda will be available 24 hours before the meeting.
