A curator-led nature hike on one of the farm’s many hiking trails.

For the Love of Bees: Teachings of the Beehive – 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Bees and humankind have a long history together, and the teachings of the beehive offer a beautiful and critical message for survival of both species. Presented by beekeeper Margaret von der Meden.

Wildflower Garden Walk – 1 p.m.
Explore the beauty and tranquility of the Luquer-Marble Memorial Wildflower Garden, which was created in 1955 to preserve endangered native plants and educate visitors about plant conservation.

Join representatives from the Wolf Conservation Center to understand the behavior and benefits of the eastern coyote and to empower the community with the tools, information and resources required to coexist with this misunderstood predator.

Bicycle Sundays – 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Bike, jog, ride, walk or skate the parkway from the Westchester County Center in White Plains to Scarsdale Road in Yonkers, a 13-mile round trip. Various points of entry and exit along the road. Fee for parking at the County Center. In the event of rain, program is cancelled. Also, 5/12 and 19; no program Memorial Day weekend.

Weekend Conservatory Tour – 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Join Lasdon’s horticulturist for a tour of the Tropical Rainforest exhibit. Learn about rainforests and colorful tropical plants. Admission $7 adults, $5 children 12 and under; purchase tickets at the Shop at Lasdon.
