Blair Carey, 2015 graduate of PMHS, commissioned as second lieutenant in U.S. Army
Blair Carey, a 2015 graduate of Pelham Memorial High School, was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army during a ceremony hosted by the University of Alabama Army ROTC program in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on May 3.
Carey earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the Culverhouse College of Business at UA.
He was a four-year scholarship cadet in the U.S. Army ROTC program and president of Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity.
Carey will report for training at Fort Lee in Virginia before joining the 1st Cavalry Division’s 227th Aviation Regiment in Fort Hood, Texas, as a logistics officer.
