After a long and impactful time with Mohawk, he retired at the age of 65 to take care of his wife Mildred who passed in 2004.

In his free time, Jaime enjoyed bowling at Yankee Lanes.  He also loved carpentry and helping his neighbors and friends, becoming known as the in-house carpenter at the Biltmore where he lived in Pelham Manor. He enjoyed sports, especially baseball. Jaime started as a Mets fan, but later became a Yankee fan as the Mets continued letting him down. Many will remember Jaime at the Nautilus Diner in Mamaroneck where he would hold court every Saturday afternoon. Jaime will be remembered as a creative, fun loving and hardworking gentleman who loved family and taking care of people.

Jaime is survived by his son Jose, Pat (wife), his grandson Jake and the many people whose lives he touched. He is predeceased by his wife Mildred and his son Michael.
