July 10, 2019 – Pelham, NY – On Sunday, July 14th at 7:30 p.m. The Picture House Regional Film Center (TPH) will host an advance screening of the new, deeply personal documentary, David Crosby: Remember My Name (R; 95 mins).

Nominated for a Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival, this inspired collaboration between director A.J. Eaton and producer Cameron Crowe coaxes Crosby into unflinching candor as the singer-songwriter confronts mortality and assesses the damage of earlier days. At the same time, his redemptive journey back to music is universally inspiring and uplifting, bearing an emotional impact that transcends the rock documentary genre.

A cultural force for over fifty years, Crosby faced uncertain future after the 2015 dissolution of Crosby, Stills and Nash. Racked with health issues and personal obstacles, Crosby forged a new path at the age of 77. Seeking out younger musicians and recording a pair of critically-praised new albums, Crosby now sets out to make a mark in a world now so different from the generation he came to define in the 60’s. With unflinching honesty, self-examination, regret, fear, exuberance, and an unshakable belief in family and the transformative nature of music, Crosby shares his often-challenging journey with humor and bite.

David Crosby: Remember My Name will premiere exclusively in Westchester at The Picture House five days prior of its national theatrical release on July 19th.

Tickets to the advance screening are $15/general admission, $12/students, seniors, and members and are available at www.thepicturehouse.org or at the box office, 175 Wolfs Lane, Pelham, NY 10803.
