A big part of what we do is fire prevention education. These skills are taught to our community’s youth starting in kindergarten.⁣

We teach students at a young age fire prevention habits and we help enforce those habits through education every year. ⁣

We teach students how to use a fire extinguisher properly, the importance of having a home exit plan and a meeting place, the importance of closing their bedroom doors at night, and much more. ⁣

As the new school year is set to begin in a few weeks, we are actively planning our fire prevention week curriculum. ⁣
