Mauro Martellotti – Sept. 12

Mauro Martellotti, entered into rest September 12, 2019. Previously of the Bronx. Born in Caffaraccia, Italy on October 9, 1926 to Vittorio and Ludavina (Zazzi) Martellotti. Mauro was predeceased by his wife Gloria. Mauro left Italy in the 1950’s to work the coal mines in Canada where he met Gloria and they were married in 1956. He worked at Tiro Segno Rifle Club as a waiter for 20 plus years then working at montes. Mauro loved Cooking, gardening, hunting and fishing. he love his Tomato plants and preparing wild game. He was a kind and loving family man, loved children and loved babysitting A respectful gentleman, soft spoken and very social. Mauro loved watching soccer Tango dancing and loved Accordion music as well as his cocktails. He is survived by his daughters, Donna and her husband Leonard Ferrara, JoAnn Martellotti and her daughter Brittany McHugh as well as other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place Friday, September 13, 2019 from 4PM – 8PM at the Pelham Funeral Home 64 Lincoln Ave Pelham, NY 10803. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday September 14, 2019 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Pelham, NY at, 10AM with Entombment at Ferncliff Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers family has asked for donations in Mauro’s name be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. of Westchester.
