Editor’s note: This press release was provided by the Friends of the Town of Pelham Public Library.

Held every other year, Pelham Reads! is a community-wide celebration of stories told through literature, art, and film. It’s sponsored by the Town of Pelham Public Library, Friends of the Town of Pelham Public Library, The Picture House, and Pelham Art Center. This year, experience Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterly through a series of events to be held Oct 5 through Oct 18.

Hidden Figures, the true story of the female mathematicians at NASA whose calculations helped fuel some of America’s greatest achievements in space, is the focus of this year’s Pelham Reads!, and there will be multiple events open to the public. Print out this schedule and get ready for some space-themed fun for the whole family!
