Editor’s note: This press release was provided by the Pelham (Union Free) School District.

The Board of Education is seeking interested candidates to fill vacancies on several committees for the 2019-20 school year.

Seats for community members exist on the Audit, Authentic Learning (formerly Curriculum), Bond Steering, Community Engagement and Advocacy, Cultural Competence (formerly Diversity), Facilities/Athletic Facilities, International Baccalaureate Oversight, K-12 Innovation, Literacy, Math, Safety and Security, and Wellness committees.

Please read more about each committee here.

Volunteering to serve on Pelham Public Schools committees is a good way to become involved with the school community and help guide the important work that takes place in our District each year.

If you are interested in serving, please complete this Google Form by October 8, 2019. Volunteers who served during the last school year and who would like to continue are also asked to submit a new application for this school year.

The Board will review all applications and select the top candidates to fill the open vacancies.
