Progressive Women of Pelham endorse Adam Kagan for town justice

Editor’s note: This press release was provided by the Progressive Women of Pelham.

This week the Progressive Women Of Pelham voted overwhelmingly to endorse the candidacy of Village Of Pelham resident Adam Kagan for Town Justice in the November election.

Kagan, an attorney, said, “I’m grateful to the PWP for endorsing my run. We share a strong commitment to Pelham and to public service. I appreciate the opportunity to serve in a new role and look forward to the respectful, reasoned administration of justice in our community.”

PWP membership support for Kagan was no surprise to organization chair Marisa Panzani. “Adam has been active in Pelham for years; he’s a member of the Village Board of Trustees and currently the deputy mayor. People know him as careful and fair, the qualities you want to see in a judge.”

Kagan is running on the Democratic and SAM (Save America Movement) party lines. Kagan has previously been endorsed by Congressman Eliot Engel, County Executive George Latimer, State Senator Alessandra Biaggi, and County Legislator Terry Clements. The election is November 5.
