Girls’ tennis, volleyball, cross country, field hockey all contribute PMHS Athletes of the Week
Seniors Catherine Taubner, Peri Zale, Grace Aronson, Lance Brady, Morgan Sample, and Grace Liberatore, junior Jane Dunbar, sophomore Amaya Goulbourne and Eileen Mazzaro were named PMHS Athletes of the Week.
Girls’ Tennis
Catherine Taubner was victorious in a 3rd set tie-breaker to win her singles match against John Jay while Amaya Goulbourne also won her singles match in a come from behind victory against New Rochelle.
Volleyball
Peri Zale notched 13 kills and 1 ace while Grace Aronson had 11 kills and 1 ace as the volleyball team won 3-0 over Rye.
Cross Country
Lance Brady and Morgan Sample each won two races and have been among the top finishers for the cross country team at every meet this year.
Field Hockey
Captain Grace Liberatore and Jane Dunbar have been outstanding leading the field hockey team’s defense, helping the Pelicans to a strong 8-0-2 start. Eileen Mazzaro has paced the team’s offense, tallying a goal or assist in every game this year.
