Florence D. Mamone, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, N.Y., passed away peacefully at the Dumont Center on Monday, October 21, 2019. Florence was born February 14, 1925 to Raffaele and Elisabetta (Cirillo) Mamone.

Florence enjoyed a career in banking as a secretary and also in customer service at several banks in Westchester County, most notably for Marine Midland Bank in various branches. For the first half of her life Florence was a communicant at St. Joseph’s Church in New Rochelle and in later years she faithfully attended St. Catherine’s Church in Pelham.

Florence was a beloved sister and aunt to many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two sisters: Jean LaGuidice and Helen Lamanno and one brother, Bruno Mamone. She is survived by her brother Dominick Mamone, currently residing in Chesapeake, Virginia, and her sister, Elizabeth Urban, a longtime resident of Pelham, N.Y., currently residing in New Rochelle.

She will be missed by her family and also by the staff and her friends at the Dumont Center.

Visitation will be Wednesday October 30, 2019, from 9-11AM, at Pelham Funeral Home 64 Lincoln Ave Pelham, NY 10803. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30AM at St. Catherine’s Church, Pelham, NY, Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, New Rochelle, NY.
