GOP Councilman McLaughlin endorses Marcellino for town board

To the editor:

I am writing to endorse Michelle Marcellino for town council. Some residents might know her from her maiden name, Michelle Perillo.

I have been on the council for 13 years and I know very well what skills are needed to be successful in that position. And Michelle Perillo Marcellino has all of them.

Michelle and her family have lived around the corner from my family for several years. During that time, I have gotten to know her and her family. Michelle has lived in Pelham since she was an infant. She attended all Pelham schools and knows the town quite well. She has been involved in the Pelham Education Foundation, Pelham Youth Hockey, Prospect Hill site-based council and recreation programs for the town.

More recently, I have been working with Michelle regarding our campaign for town council. Her energy, dedication, team work and focused efforts have indicated to me how well she would integrate onto the town council and be a valuable asset to me as town supervisor and the town.

Michelle has a 20-year professional career specializing in budgets, planning and negotiation, skills that will be invaluable to the town and its residents when elected to the town council.

I strongly ask you to do two things:

  • Please come out and vote.
  • Place your vote for Michelle (Perillo) Marcellino.
