Tickets are now on-sale for the award-winning PMHS Sock’n’Buskin theater group’s production of “Almost, Maine,” to be held November 22-24 in the high school auditorium.

Set on a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights glow in the star-filled sky, the residents of Almost, Maine find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend – almost – in this delightful midwinter night’s dream about romance.

Showtimes are as follows:

  • Friday, November 22 – 7:30pm
  • Saturday, November 23 – 7:30pm
  • Sunday, November 24 – 2pm

All tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students/children/senior citizens.  Please email [email protected] for information and reservations.

Fresh off winning seven National Youth Arts Awards for its 2018-19 productions, PMHS Sock’n’Buskin is ready to put its touch on the most produced high school play in North America.

Directed by Tom Beck and Neil Schleifer, the show features Aiden Zusin, Malia McLellan, Bryan McFarland, Emma McNulty, Lance Brady, Vanessa Rosado, Camilla O’Keefe, Jack Denison, Oliver Tam, Jack Finegan, Meredith Heller, Arthur O’Sullivan, Caitlin Winston, Tommy Roche, Isabella Rosado, Soren Bushong, and Katie Scott as well as an ensemble of others.

“It’s both a very smart and a very funny play about relationships,” said Mr. Beck.

“Playwright John Cariani shows us in warm and humorous ways that when we are in search of love, our hearts don’t always take the main path. Sometimes they take the road that’s almost main,” added Mr. Schleifer.
