Eva Zambernardi – Nov. 22

Eva Zambernardi entered into rest peacefully on November 22, 2019 at home with family by her side.

Eva was born in Torrington, Conn. June 14, 1920 to Pietro and Maria DeMichiel.

Eva attended Hutchinson School and Pelham Memorial High School.

Eva was predeceased by her husband, Peter Zambernardi, former Chief of Police for the Village of Pelham Manor, also predeceased by her sisters Josephine Genometta, Elsi Rossi and Edith Burrows, also by her niece, Vivian Geitz.

Eva was a member of the Pelham Senior Citizens and St. Catharine’s prayer group. She was also an avid baker and cook.

Eva is survived by her son, Peter Zambernardi as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3-5 PM on Monday, November 25,2019 at Pelham Funeral Home, 64 Lincoln Ave., Pelham, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Catharine’s Church on Tuesday November 26, 2019 at 11AM with Burial to follow at Beechwood Cemetery in New Rochelle, NY
