The Board of Education will meet at 8:15 pm on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 in PMHS Alumni Hall on the ground floor of Pelham Memorial High School, 575 Colonial Avenue, Pelham, NY 10803. Prior to the public meeting, the Board is expected to meet in Executive Session at 7 pm in the Superintendent’s Conference Room in the Central Office, 18 Franklin Place, Pelham, NY 10803.

At the meeting, the Board is expected to discuss and may act on a formal resolution honoring the placement of the number 44 on the Glover Turf Field to celebrate the legacy of Anthony Senerchia Jr. as well as a proposal to install a plaque at the Glover Field complex in his honor.

In addition to Dr. Champ’s Superintendent’s report, the agenda may include updates from each School Board committee, Finances and Facilities, and the three goal areas of the Strategic Plan: Cultural Competence, Authentic Learning, and the Whole Child.

The Board may also review and/or approve the following policies: Policy 3280 – Use of School Facilities, Materials and Equipment (First Reading); Policy 5620- Inventories and Accounting of Fixed Assets (Second Reading); Policy 7440 – Student Voter Registration and Pre-Registration (Second Reading). These policies are available for review on BoardDocs as part of the meeting agenda which will be available for viewing 24 hours before the meeting.
