The Pelham School District wants to have a giant playdate for all the district’s youngest students.

The district has invited all incoming Kindergartners and their parents to a Kindergarten Social on Aug. 28 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The event for children who will attend Pelham’s four elementary schools will be held at Ingalls Field, with the Pelham Middle School gym as the rain location.

The social “will feature fun and games, as well as a chance to make new friends and meet incoming classmates,” said a district press release. “Attendees should bring their own reusable water bottle and a snack.”
