We had a wonderful turnout at the 6th installment of the annual Pelham chess classic. With players represented from all over Westchester. We had a total of 90 students competing from White Plains, New Rochelle, Mamaroneck, Tarrytown, Rye, Armonk, Larchmont, Bedford, Mount Vernon, Greenwich, and oh yeah, of course, Pelham as well.

The prize winners were as follows;

Championship section Tie for first place Shailen Smith (graduated from Prospect Hill now lives in Fairfield CT) and Maxwell Resnick (graduated from Colonial school now at Horace Mann)

Reserve Section 1st place with a perfect 4 wins and no losses Connor Normoyle 2nd place Benjamin Zwicker
