Dear Pelham Parents and Community Members,

The Board of Education will meet at 8:15 pm on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in the Pelham Middle School Library, 28 Franklin Place, Pelham, NY 10803. Prior to the public meeting, the Board is expected to meet in executive session at 6:00 pm in the Superintendent’s Conference Room in Central Office, 18 Franklin Place, Pelham, NY 10803.

At 7:30 pm the community is invited to attend a reception welcoming Julia Chung, the District’s incoming assistant superintendent for pupil personnel services.

At the public meeting, Dr. Cheryl Champ is expected to present an overview of the superintendent’s budget proposal. It is also anticipated that the Board will receive an update on implementation of the 2018 bond projects and will consider the design development plans, which represent approximately 60% of the overall design.

In addition to Dr. Champ’s Superintendent’s report, the agenda may include updates from each School Board committee, as well as reports on 21st Century Learning and Professional Development, Networks of Support and Social-Emotional Development, and Finances and Facilities.

The Board may also review and/or approve policy 7521- Students with Life-Threatening Health Conditions (second reading). This policy is available for review on BoardDocs as part of the meeting agenda which will be available for viewing 24 hours before the meeting.
