Tom Imperato is resigning from the Pelham Board of Education effective July 10 to return to the real-estate finance and investment business, according to an emailed statement from Imperato.

There is one year left in Imperato’s three-year term.

“I am taking the opportunity to get back into real-estate finance and investment with my former associates.” the statement said.
