Music, dancing and a salute to our local public-safety heroes are in store this summer at the “Fun in the Sun” special events at the county-operated pools and beaches.

Family Fun Days offer something for all ages. Show off your dance moves with DJ music and compete in a water balloon toss or the interactive frozen T-shirt game. These events also offer special concession stand items, a balloon artist, a magic show, face painting and more.

Public Safety Days are an annual salute to Westchester’s firefighters and police. Learn how these men and women keep your family and property safe every day of the year.

Start sketching now to be ready to compete in the fifth annual Westchester County Parks Sand Castle Competition. Build an extraordinary masterpiece – as a solo work or with a team — to impress the judges and win prizes.

Westchester County residency is required for all events. Participation in all events is free with your paid admission to the pool or beach.
