Protest against ICE in Grand Central attracts tourists, Trump counter-protestors; Metro North delays result

Protesters formed a silent wall in the center of the terminal.

A silent wall of people holding signs protesting against the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency filled much of the Grand Concourse of Grand Central Terminal during the rush hour Monday. The protestors were surrounded by commuters and tourists taking photos, broadcasting the protest to social media. Also around them were scattered counter-protesters sporting Make America Great Again hats and Trump 2020 signs.

The protest caused delays for Metro-North with regular times being shifted to accommodate the crowd.
