Two winners of the Rotary Club of the Pelhams Scholarship —William Shelton (PMHS graduate 2018) and Thomas Horowitz (PMHS graduate 2017) — were honored at the luncheon of the Rotary Club of the Pelhams on July 17 at Rockwells.

Each was presented with the quarterly check from their $10,000 scholarship as winners of the annual Rotary scholarship the year they graduated.

William Shelton has recently completed his freshman year at Vanderbilt University, where he has yet to declare a major. He studied economics, physics and computer science and also did volunteer work with students teaching them  about money and coding.

Thomas Horowitz completed his second year at Binghamton, where he is majoring in computer science. He was a lifeguard and water safety instructor, teaching young people.
