Our Fall soccer program is open to all children in grades Pre-K to 7th who live or attend school in Pelham (Pre-K players must live in Pelham). We run programs for:

Pre-K (Co-ed)

Kindergarten Boys

Kindergarten Girls

Grade 1-2 Boys

Grade 1-2 Girls

Grade 3-4 Boys

Grade 3-4 Girls

Grade 5-6-7 Boys

Grade 5-6-7 Girls

Dates

Grades K through 5-6-7 play on Saturdays, September 15th – November 10th

Pre-K plays on Saturdays, September 29th – November 10th

Specific times and locations for the each grade level will be announced in advance of the season.

NB: There will be no Rec Soccer on Columbus Day Weekend, October 6th.

Registering your child

When registering your child, be sure to do so in line with her or his grade level in 2018/19, and to update any information that you may have entered in the system in the past.

Registration is online (click on the “registration” link, below) and is open from June 4th – July 9th. The fee is $65. Late online registration is open from July 10th – August 15th (fee $100). Registration will remain open between August 16th – September 11th (but the fee increases to $150).

When you register, you may use the “notes” field to express preferences regarding teammates and coaches. We endeavor to honor such requests when we form team rosters. Please note that, if you sign up after August 15th, we cannot consider such requests. If your child plays Travel Soccer, please indicate this in the “notes” field.

About our programs

For grade levels K through 5/6/7, the first week (Sep 15th) will be a training clinic. In subsequent weeks, the format is as follows:

For kindergarten players, a weekly clinic (1 hour)

For grades 1-2, a practice session followed by a game (1 ½ hours total)

For grades 3-4, a practice session followed by a game (1 ¾ hours total)

For grades 5-6-7, a practice session followed by a game (2 hours total).

For Pre K players, the season comprises a 6 week, 45-minute clinic program on Saturdays (September 29th-November 10th).

Pelham Rec Soccer programs are open to all children in grades Pre-K to 7th grade who live or attend school in Pelham (Pre-K players must live in Pelham). The Pre-K program is for players who will be starting kindergarten in September 2019.

Rec Soccer needs you!

Our programs are run entirely by volunteers. Parents – please consider signing up as a coach or an assistant coach. You can do so when you register your child. Coaching is fun and easy (we provide coaching plans). There are other ways in which you can contribute to Rec Soccer, too. We also need referees. Referees must be at least 13 years old. Those aged 13 will be awarded community service. Referees 14 years and older are paid.
