As a courtesy, Pelham Manor residents may have their dog off-leash at Shore Park from the park opening until 9 AM. Dogs are not permitted off-leash at any other time.

Dog owners are reminded that while off-leash, the dog must be under visual and voice control. Recently two park users jogging around the path were accosted by dogs, one suffering a bite to the hand and back. If dogs continue to harass other park users, the off-leash permission with be rescinded.

Dog owners are also required to clean up after their pet, whether off-leash or otherwise.
