Pelham Art Center sets benefit Studio Cafe for Nov. 16

Studio Café takes place Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Pelham Art Center. This annual event directly supports the Pelham Art Center’s art, education, and community programs. VIP and General Admission tickets are now on sale for this fundraiser bringing together over 200 community leaders and art lovers. Live music, one-of-a-kind art and auction items, live art demos, and signature food from local restaurants make Studio Café the Art Party of the Fall! Presale ticket prices ($135 VIP|$85 General Admission) ends October 15th.
The evening begins with renowned jazz guitarist Dan Haedicke (DH4 Music) and vocals by Sarah Rayani. This contemporary jazz duo performs classical jazz with a soulful twist, paying homage to old school hip hop. IN/FLUX artist Nicky Enright aka DJ Lightbolt will continue the party with sounds that stimulate the dance floor and the global cortex.
Over 50 artists are involved with Studio Café. A special selection of works all made on 1’x 1’ wood panels go on sale for $250 at the fundraiser. VIP guests can arrive early to get their first choice! Artists include: Brian Bober, Lisa D’Amico, Katharine Dufault, Kate Fauvell, Frank Guida, Satish Joshi, Anki King, Charlotte Mouquin, Nancy Nikkal, Monique Robidoux, Victoria Rolett, Donna Ross, Arlene Rush, Susan Saas, Gabriel Shuldiner, and more! Partygoers will also witness live art demos as models are rendered by beloved Pelham Art Center teaching artists Donna Ross and Frank Guida.
Art highlights by Shepard Fairey, Kate Fauvell, Charles Fazzino, Jill Keifer, David Kramer, Ola Manana, Kerri Ann Olejniczak, Dorothy Robinson, Win Zibeon, and more will be auctioned online during the event via GiveSmart. Guests will enjoy culinary and beverage specialties from over 25 local vendors. VIP Entry is at 6:00PM and General Admission begins at 7:00PM.
