Seniors Benny Morfit and Joel Hawthorne, junior Carlo Volpe, and sophomore Kate Loughran were named PMHS Athletes of the Week. Loughran had a strong season for the varsity tennis team and represented the Pelicans in the conference tournament. Playing for the football team, Volpe was 9/15 passing for 152 yards and 2 touchdowns as the team beat Horace Greeley. Morfit and Hawthorne had strong games against Greeley as well, with Morfit catching two passes for 29 yards and a touchdown and Hawthorne also catching two passes for 67 yards and a touchdown. Additionally he added 3.5 tackles.
