A Class Act NY hosts ‘Mean Girls’ workshop at The Manor Club

Editor’s note: This press release was provided by A Class Act NY.

On Monday, January 20 (MLK Day), A Class Act NY is bringing Iain Young from Broadway’s MEAN GIRLS (Assistant Dance Captain/Understudy Damian) to
Pelham, NY for our first ever collaboration with The Manor Club! Based off of the cult classic of the same name, MEAN GIRLS took Broadway by storm when it opened at the August Wilson Theatre in April of 2018. Since its opening, the smash hit earned 12 Tony Award Nominations, 9 Drama Desk Award Nominations, and a massive fan following.

Lucky participants will start the day off by learning a MEAN GIRLS song and dance combo. In the latter part of the class, students will perform mock auditions for a MEAN GIRLS actor who will offer helpful feedback and coaching. The Broadway actor will also answer student’s questions in an informative Q&A and take photos and autographs with participants!

For a nominal fee of $25, parents or guardians are welcome to observe the workshop.
