Are you considering an electric car to replace your current vehicle? Several automakers are switching to electric-only vehicle production and prices have become affordable.

Come to The Manor Club on Monday, February 3 and hear Ron Kamen of EarthKind Energy speak on the topic “Electric Vehicles: How to save $$$ and reduce your carbon footprint”

This program is the first of four meetings TMC is hosting with Environmental Coalition of the Pelhams and the Village of Pelham Climate Smart Communities Task Force on climate and sustainability issues. The dates are February 3rd, March 2nd, April 20th, and May 4th.

The series first program on February 3rd at 7:30pm features Ron Kamen, the founder and CEO of EarthKind Energy, a dba of his 20-year old NYS clean power consulting firm, Starphire.Net, Inc.

Ron creates projects, programs, and policies that empower clean energy transformations for communities, businesses, governments, and non-profit institutions. His clients have included the World Bank; U.S. military; Fortune 1000 corporations; schools & colleges; and Sustainable Westchester’s 43 municipal members.

EarthKind’s clean power consulting services have produced dramatic clean energy improvements that annually save hundreds of millions of dollars – and eliminate megatons of carbon.

Ron is a dynamic and engaging speaker who provides an inspiring message – and clear, understandable options – for how to save money while reducing the “Big 3” sources of carbon emissions: Transportation, Building Heating & Cooling, and Electricity.

There is no admission charge for this event although $10 donations to the TMC Building Fund are welcome.

The Manor Club is located at 1023 Esplanade, Pelham Manor.
