Editor’s note: This press release was provided by SOOP Theatre Company.

SOOP Theatre Company will be performing A.R. Gurney’s LOVE LETTERS, starring Broadway and Sirius Radio personality, CHRISTINE PEDI (Chicago, Little Me, Talk Radio, Forbidden Broadway).  Christine will star opposite SOOP Artistic Director PAUL ROMANELLO on Saturday, February 8th, 2020 at 8pm at SOOP’s Pelham location, The 530 Studios, 530 Fifth Avenue, Pelham, NY.  Local Westchester actors NELLIE O’BRIEN and JEFF SCHLOTMAN will perform the piece on Sunday, February 9th, 2020 at 4pm.

LOVE LETTERS follows the story of Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and Melissa Gardner, both born to wealth and position; childhood friends whose lifelong correspondence begins with birthday party thank-you notes and summer camp postcards and continues through a lifetime of romantic attachment, war, success, marriage, failed marriage, alcoholism – and finally the clarity of just how much they meant and gave to each other over the years – physically apart, perhaps, but spiritually as close as only true lovers can be.
