This was a great opportunity for us the Rockers”
I was asked by Mr. Don Fellows if we would play for a fund raising affair for Community Chest of the Pelhams.
He had written a jingle for us to play. So off to his home for a brief rehearsal we went.
The jingle was easily absorbed by us and the next day or so we appeared at the fundraiser to perform. Needless to say it was all quite successful, and knowing that we all had a part in raising the level of enthusiasm was our payback
Now although I marked up the pix may I introduce you to “The Rockers”
Alan Gramaglia, (drums)
Felix Cavaliere, (piano)
Bob Kipperman (tenor sax)
Bob Archigian (alto sax)
Frank Tolksdorf ( trumpet)
Chris Cahill ( upright bass)
We were Blessed to have had this opportunity to play for the event together . Fond memories for us All.
Sadly we lost Alan, Kippy and Chris certainly gone too soon❤❤❤
