NOW THROUGH WED, APRIL 1: A Daily Sketchbook Drawing Activity

Through April 1, Rye Arts Center will provide a daily sketchbook prompt for anyone looking for a fun arts activity. A new prompt will be provided each day and posted to the Center’s Facebook and Instagram pages. Participants should hashtag their drawings with #ryeartsy and the Center will assemble an online gallery. The Center also offers an online arts resource webpage with virtual arts activities, including a Stop Motion Kids Camp, arts classes on YouTube and more. MORE INFO

NOW THROUGH SUN, APRIL 26: Caramoor’s Livestream Music Series

Through April 26, Caramoor Center for Music and Arts will present a free series of contemporary and classical music performances that have been previously recorded or will be live-streamed on the Center’s YouTube channel. Audiences can enjoy broadcasts of the Center’s 2020 Schwab Vocal Rising Stars‘ concert, which was performed and live-streamed on March 15, and the Thalea String Quartet‘s November 17 performance. The series will include upcoming livestream performances from jazz pianist Vijay Iyer (April 4 at 8pm), the Aaron Diehl Trio (April 18 at 8pm) and pianist Conrad Tao (April 26 at 3pm). MORE INFO

SAT, MAR. 28: A Live Streaming Jazz Performance

This Saturday, Jazz Forum Arts will present a Facebook Live stream performance by jazz pianist, drummer and composer Julius Rodriguez. A native of White Plains, the 21-year old musician performs a mix of soul, country, jazz, gospel and hip-hop. This performance is part of the Forum’s new “Jazz Forum @ Home” series, which will provide Facebook Live stream performances every Saturday night, jazz and Brazilian videos, interviews and more. ONGOING: Bedford Playhouse’s Virtual Movie Trivia

Every week, Bedford Playhouse will offer virtual movie trivia for kids ages 5-9. A set of six different trivia questions will be posted on the Playhouse’s Facebook and Instagram pages every Monday. Participants should email their answers and include “Trivia Time Week” with the week number in the subject line. Winners will be announced on Mondays and a weekly winner chosen at random will win a free popcorn voucher. MORE INFO
