Stella Mosia – April 5

Stella Mosia of Pelham, New York, passed away on April 5, 2020. She was 91 years old. Born in the Bronx to Frank and Elizabeth DiLorenzo. Stella was one of two children. She was raised in the Bronx where she attended Evander Child High School. Upon graduation she would meet her husband of 59 years at her Uncle’s restaurant in the Bronx.

The couple moved to Pelham in in 1957 where they would raise their 5 children. Stella was a homemaker. She loved to cook Italian food, make special plates for people and take care of her grandchildren later in her life. She took many trips in her life with her late husband Anthony.

Stella will be remembered as a caring, compassionate, generous and devoted person. She will be missed by her children Denise (Robert) Medoff, Ron (Lisa) Mosia, Jeffrey (Marjorie) Mosia, and Frank (Vicki) Mosia. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Anthony, her son Anthony and her brother Don DiLorenzo.
