Louis J. Bastone Jr. of Pelham Manor, New York, passed away suddenly on May 4th 2020. He was 83 years old. Born in Brooklyn NY to Louis and Mary Bastone, Louis and his sister Marlene were raised by their foster mother Rose Nardi.

When Louis was 16 years old he met the love of his life and wife of 62 years Betty DiPeri. They met through Betty’s brother Ignatius. During their courtship Louis proudly served his country while stationed in Hawaii. Louis and Betty married in 1957 and went on to raise three children, Stephen, Lisabeth and Louis.

As proprietor of Cover Girl Salon in Larchmont his magnetic personality was key to his success. His clients and employees loved him and he loved them. He loved playing golf with longtime friends, playing cards, riding motorcycles and working out in the gym. He was warm, compassionate and a loving husband, father, grandfather and father in law.

Louis will be deeply missed by his wife Betty, his children: Stephen, Lisabeth and Louis, his daughter in law Bronwen and his two grandchildren, Alexandra and James.
