May 18, 2020 – Pelham, NY – In an ongoing effort to support local small businesses, the Pelham Chamber of Commerce (www.pelchamber.com) is launching the Pelham Farmer’s Market on Sunday, May 24th from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at The Local Branch Coworking space’s parking lot, 200 Fifth Avenue, Pelham, NY.

Following safety guidelines put forth by the Farmers’ Market Federation of New York, the Pelham Farmer’s Market will limit the number of customers allowed in to the market, will space out vendor tables to encourage social distancing, and will require all vendors and customers to wear face coverings, among implementing other precautions.

“As the weather warms up, we wanted to give people a way to safely come out to support some of our terrific Pelham businesses, makers, and eateries,” said Clayton Bushong, President of the Pelham Chamber of Commerce. “People have been pivoting in such creative ways to stay relevant with their customers and we hope that the farmer’s market is another opportunity for the community to engage with them and one another (in a socially distanced way) as we move forward.”

The initial market will include local Pelham businesses and some favorites from last year’s Wolfs Walk street festival including MAC’s Food Truck who will be taking orders in advance. The Pelham Farmer’s Market vendor list (as of May 18, 2020) includes:
