Westchester County and the rest of the Mid-Hudson Valley Region are set to enter phase two reopening on Tuesday, following “a review of regional data by global public health experts,” according to Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s daily email.

Long Island is scheduled to enter the second phase on Wednesday.

The region made up of Westchester, Ulster, Dutchess, Sullivan, Orange, Putnam and Rockland counties began phase one on May 26.

If medical metrics are met, regions are supposed to enter the next of each of the four phases after a two week pause.

While following specific guidelines and restrictions, the following are permitted to open during phase two, according to New York State.

  • Offices
  • Real estate
  • Essential and phase two in-store retail
  • Vehicle sales, leases, and rentals
  • Retail rental, repair and cleaning
  • Commercial building management
  • Hair salons and barbershops
