SOOP Theatre thanks area businesses for backing playbill even though ‘Oz’ had to be cancelled

To the editor:

My name is Paul Romanello, and I am the artistic director of SOOP Theatre Company here in town. While I am aware that there are many more pressing issues on everyone’s mind, I would like to change direction slightly and ask the community to recognize some of my new, personal heroes!

SOOP Theatre Company would like to say a warm and heart-filled “thank you” to all of the local and area businesses that supported us by contributing to a playbill for our production of “The Wizard of Oz.” Due to the current pandemic, the production had to be cancelled, but the memory of all the hard-working students and staff lives on in our beautiful playbill designed by Michael Lamy Graphic Designs and produced as a result of the generosity of our local businesses. It is our hope that you will continue to support all of them as they continue on the path of reopening and/or getting back to normal! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
