Self-Caricatures (Ages 12+)

Most of us have internal images of ourselves that are hyperfocused on our perceived flaws. In this workshop, we aim to give each participant a new perspective on themselves. Artists The Nerdy Duo will take participants through a group self-portrait exercise designed by Dav Yendler that helps us to laugh at the silly caricatures we’ve created inside our heads and embrace our actual reflections. $10

Wednesday, June 17th

1:00-2:00PM

Summer Landscape (Ages 6+)

Have fun creating your own summer landscape! This class teaches kids to be creative and how to layer using lines while learning concepts such as backgrounds and foregrounds. $10

Thursday, June 18th

Open Critique with Edgar Jerins (Teens + Adults)

VIRTUAL STUDIO TOUR FRIDAY JUNE 19th

Virtual Studio Visit: Gabriel Shuldiner

Interested in the timeless and disparate associations assigned to black, Gabriel J. Shuldiner describes his work as ‘Bruteminimalism®’: a concept situated somewhere between the abstract and absurd. His physically powerful, s[r]eductively delicate ‘Hybridsculpturalpaintings®’ trigger both immediate engagement and visceral reaction, conjuring images of voids in space and postapocalyptic futures. Join us for an interactive studio visit with the artist.
