School board calls 2 p.m. Wednesday meeting to appoint additional election inspectors

At 1:48 p.m., the Pelham Board of Education emailed announcement of a 2 p.m. special virtual meeting to appoint additional elections inspectors, without stating why the inspectors were needed.

The Pelham Union Free School District is in the second day of counting the mail ballots for the budget vote and school board election.

The Pelham Board of Education will hold a special meeting via video conference at 2pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 for the purposes of appointing additional elections inspectors for the school budget vote and Board of Education member election. The meeting can be viewed on YouTube live.

Please note that due to public health and safety concerns, the public will not be permitted to attend this meeting in person or at the remote locations where the Board of Education members will be situated.

This video conference meeting is being held in accordance with the notices and health advisories issued by Federal, State and Local officials and pursuant to Executive Order 202.1 of the Governor of the State of New York, dated March 12, 2020.
