Pelham Art Center’s virtual summer session begins July 6 and is now open for registration. The Art Center is offering a diverse range of week-long youth art camps and multi-session adult workshops. Each youth class introduces art techniques with fun projects that encourage creative expression and hands-on learning. Adult courses are designed to help students sharpen their skills, explore different media and simply enjoy artmaking! Pelham Art Center is also now offering private in-person bookings. Individuals or small groups can receive personalized art instruction or host a creative gathering at the Art Center or from the comfort of their own home. Complete details are provided below.

Youth 

July 6 – 10: Drawing in Photoshop with Mecca Alim (Ages: 9-12)

July 13 – 17: Painting with Watercolors with Dhanashree Gadiyar (Ages: 7+)

July 20 – 24: Printmaking and Bookmaking with Donna Ross (Ages: 7+)

July 27 – 31: Fun with Origami! with Zafiro Acevedo (Ages: 5+)

July 27 – 31: Animated Scenes with The Nerdy Duo (Ages: 8+)

August 3 – 7: Watercolor for Beginners with Jackie Meier (Ages: 10-15)

August 10 – 14: Explore Mixed Media Art with Zafiro Acevedo (Ages: 5+)

August 17 – 21: Learn to Draw with Dhanashree Gadiyar (Ages: 7+)

August 24 – 28: Little Masters with Donetta Riley (Ages: 5-7)

August 24 – 28: Sock Puppet Improv Comedy with Frank Fanelli (Ages: 8+)

Private Bookings

Private bookings are now available through Pelham Art Center this summer. Bring your family or friends in a small group for a customized creative experience! Pelham Art Center instructors can offer single-session or multi-session art lessons and fun workshops catered to any age group, occasion, or area of interest. Your private booking can be hosted at the Pelham Art Center or even at your own home. This is the perfect opportunity to receive personalized art instruction from professional teaching artists, or enjoy a fun, creative afternoon in a comfortable setting. The possibilities are endless! Make a Private Booking in Any Medium! Ceramics, Collage, Painting, Drawing, Animation and more!

Price: $250 for a 90 minute semi private class for up to 5 participants. $50 per additional person up to 8 people. Membership discounts can apply. Basic materials included.

Private Booking Policies:

• Bookings must be made at least 1 week prior to lesson date

• Materials are not included in lesson payment unless otherwise agreed upon with Pelham Art Center; additional material cost depends on supplies needed

• Ceramic workshops require 2 bookings to allow for firing and glazing time.

• A non-refundable $50 deposit is required upon reservation confirmation, and full payment must be made on or before lesson date.

• At-home bookings must take place within a 5 mile radius of Pelham Art Center unless otherwise agreed upon

• Students are responsible for their own personal protective equipment (PPE), and understand that instructors will also wear PPE and/or other materials for their own safety.
