The Hutchinson River Parkway reopened from exit 6 to exit 15 as of 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, according to a statement emailed by the Village of Pelham. The New York State Department of Transportation had originally said the closure would run through 6 p.m. on Sunday.

“The closure for the weekend is complete, and the temporary bridge for Lincoln Avenue is set across the Hutchinson River Parkway,” said the village’s email.

Constructing a temporary bridge is part of a major project to replace the Lincoln Avenue bridge over the Hutch.
