Westchester County has rolled out a new Westchester County Covid-19 dashboard to replace the daily maps it had previously been sending out. The mobile version is available here.

The new online display was prepared by the county’s department of emergency services and department of information technology. County Executive George Latimer had said earlier this week he stopped distribution of the map because it was inaccurate due to delays in receiving data. (The video of today’s press conference is available to the right.)

“This codifies data we receive from New York State,” said Latimer in a press release. “We are trying, and have proven over an extended period of time, that we intended to do the things we say we are going to do. When we say that we are going to try to give you information in a more transparent and accessible way—this is an example of how we deliver it.”

According to the dashboard, the Town of Pelham had 11 new infections as of Wednesday, with 101 active cases in town.

The dashboard, which will automatically update, displays:

  • County active case map
  • Covid-19 test site map
  • Total confirmed active cases
  • Total confirmed new cases
  • Active, new and cumulative cases by municipality
  • Total fatalities
  • Total persons tested
  • New York State designated hot zones
  • Positivity rate
  • Various graphs outlining statistics
