School board to hear mid-year report on strategic plan at Wednesdays virtual meeting

The Pelham Board of Education will meet virtually at 6:30pm on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 and is expected to immediately enter into executive session to discuss the employment history of a particular person(s) and items related to collective negotiations. The Board is expected to reconvene in public session for a regular business meeting at approximately 7:30pm, which can be viewed on YouTube live.

At the public meeting, Dr. Champ will provide the Superintendent’s Mid-Year Report on the Strategic Plan. Additionally, the Board may review and/or adopt the following policies: 5676 – Privacy and Security for Student Data and Teacher and Principal Data (3rd reading), and 3420 – Non-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment in the District (3rd reading). These policies will be available for review on BoardDocs as part of the meeting agenda which will be available for viewing 24 hours before the meeting.

In addition to Dr. Champ’s Superintendent’s report, the agenda may include updates from each School Board committee, Finances and Facilities, and the three goal areas of the Strategic Plan: Cultural Competence, Authentic Learning, and the Whole Child.
