Editor’s note: This press release was provided by the Village of Pelham.

The Village of Pelham is currently drafting an action plan to ensure racial equality in local policing, as mandated by Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order on police reform. After five months of review by the Steering Committee on Policing and Inclusion, the Village Board will be hosting three public forums to discuss their preliminary findings and recommendations. Our hope is that these forums will provide residents an opportunity to share additional recommendations and learn important information related to our operating policies. All are welcome and encouraged to join. To read the full Steering Committee’s Phase One Report, click here. To join the live forums, please click here or select the meeting title below.
