Editor’s note: This press release was provided by the Village of Pelham.
Continuing our work to ensure integrity in local policing, as mandated by Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order on police reform, the Village Board of Trustees will be hosting its final of three public forums on Thursday February 25th at 7 p.m. We’ll be discussing ways our community can come together and move forward. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Champ and Pelham United will be joining our forum, as we focus on efforts to embrace diversity, promote inclusion, and build stronger relationships within our community.
These forums provide residents an opportunity to learn about internal police department practices and reforms recommended by the Steering Committee on Policing and Inclusion, as well as share additional recommendations. All are welcome and encouraged to join.
