Richard S. Sperrazza – March 2

Richard S. Sperrazza of New Rochelle, New York, passed away on March 2, 2021. He was 74 years old.

Richard was a Proud Marine Corps Veteran who served as an Embassy Guard during his time as a Marine. Richard was a member of the VFW the Leonard H. Hawkins Post 156 on City Island, he was also an Usher at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and also a School Crossing guard in Pelham, New York. Richard worked as a Tin Knocker on sheet metal.

Richard Adored his family and loved teasing his nieces and nephews. Richard was popular and always the life of the party, loved gardening, watching Forensic files and Shark Tank and he loved his time spent in Montauk.

Richard was the widower of Elizabeth Twomey and is survived by his children, Richard (Naz), Stacey and Nelly; A brother Charles; grandson Gerald and a great granddaughter Hailey as well as many nieces and nephews.

Richard is predeceased by a brother Carmine and a sister Nickie.

A Celebration of Richards life will be held on March 5, 2021 from 4PM-8PM at Pelham Funeral Home. A mass of Christian Burial will March 6, 2021 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Pelham, NY with Burial to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
