Pelham’s SummerFest returns with fitness classes, food and live music
Events kicked off with a dog parade from Boulevard to Wolf’s Lane Park, sponsored by Pelham Animal Hospital and Bischof & Bischof LLP. Here was the official return of Pelham’s SummerFest on Saturday, where Pelham Together hosted families and friends in a variety of events along Fifth Avenue and Wolfs Lane.
The Lawn Games were sponsored by DaniLee’s Helping Hands and Spike Ball and Tie-Dye by SOOP Theater. Pelicones brought out its ice cream truck sponsored by Tig & Peach.
Thrive held a fitness class outside from 2:25 p.m. to 3:15 p.m., and the Pelham Community Rowing Association brought out the ergs for a rowing class from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. After the families went home, adults were invited out for a beer garden sponsored by Houlihan Lawrence. Rockwells served unlimited beer, and steak, chicken or veggie bowls. Live music was provided by Andrew Cole and the Bravo Hops.
Pelham’s teens performed at the Gazebo and the Pelham Art Center from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., sponsored by C&B Plumbing and Heating. The Heartbeats, The MAC, Crimson Utopia and more performed at the Gazebo, while the Acapelicans, Secondhand Smoke, Sade Silvester and others performed at the art center.
