The Pelham 10U baseball team Wednesday became the Little League New York District 21 champs, according to an email from Conrad Marrero.
After losing their first game 8-6 to a team from Yonkers-Hillcrest, Pelham didn’t lose hope. Led by Coach Richard Bent, the team dominated its next two opponents, winning 10-0 on Monday and 14-4 on Wednesday.
Pelham will seek to take their momentum from the two victories into the sectionals playoffs, with the first game Saturday at Friendship Field.
