Paulie Veneto stopped in Pelham Manor on his 200-mile journey to Ground Zero.

Paulie Veneto passed through Pelham on the Boston Post Road Wednesday morning, though not the usual way one passes through town.

Veneto, a former flight attendant, was on the flight crew from Boston to New York on one of the planes that struck the Twin Towers. Right before 9/11, he was reassigned—and lost good friends who were flight attendants on the flight, according to an email from Cristyne Nicholas. He is pushing his airline snack cart more that 200 miles from Boston to Ground Zero to gain awareness for the flight personnel who were killed that day.
