Pelhamdale Avenue is being repaved this week from Boston Post Road to Shore Road

Editor’s note: This press release was provided by the Village of Pelham Manor.

Crews have begun the process of repaving Pelhamdale Avenue (from Boston Post Road down to Shore Road) today and will continue to do so through next week.

The first step in this process is to raise the manholes in the street, followed by installation of ADA ramps at intersections that do not have them. Afterward, milling along the curb line will take place in order to ensure that the existing pavement level along the curb will be the same post-paving as it is now to facilitate drainage. The final step in the process will be the actual re-paving of the street. All this work should be completed by next week.

Motorists and pedestrians are asked to use caution while travelling through the work zones and to be aware of the raised manholes until final re-surfacing.

As always, if you have any questions, please call Village Hall at 914-738-8820, Monday through Friday from 830am to 430pm.
